Faith Formation Commission
The role of the Faith Formation
Commission is to coordinate our
ministries and groups involved in the
formation of Catholic faith of
parishioners of all ages.
The Faith Formation Commission provides
encouragement, vision, and direction to
staff and leadership involved in these
ministries. This year our focus
is to encourage collaboration and
creativity between all of our groups
and ministries. Our goals and
objectives for 2010 and beyond are:

Offer all catechists Catechetical Certification through the Archdiocese of Seattle

Design and implement a written program for the safety of the children and catechists in case of an emergency

Invite all faith formation families in the fall 2010 to a BBQ as a get-to- know-you social.

Implement Social Justice service projects for all faith formation students and families

Offer a retreat for Faith Formation parents in the fall 2010

Work to expand facilities for increasing number of faith formation students.
By teaching Catholic beliefs, traditions, and values, the Faith Formation Commission seeks to invite and empower members of our parish to strengthen their relationship with God and to enhance their spiritual life.
