The Sacraments of Christian Initiation

  • The Sacrament of Baptism *

    Congratulations!

Welcoming new members into our Catholic faith community is always a joy and a blessing!

Baptism is the door to life and the kingdom of God. Christ offered this first sacrament to all people that they might have eternal life. He entrusted this sacrament and the gospel to his Church when he told his apostles:

Go, therefore, and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”                                                                                      Mathew 28:19

Baptism is the initiation sacrament into the Catholic faith and we are excited to help prepare you for this special step in your child’s or your own faith journey.

If you are seeking Baptism for yourself or children from newborn up to 6 years old, please contact Fr. Frank Schuster or call 425-806-8096 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting  425-806-8096  to schedule an initial meeting.

  • The Sacrament of Confirmation*

Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit:  Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord, which seals or confirms upon the baptized candidates a union with Christ and equips  for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.

Each candidate for the Sacrament of Confirmation (16 years old or older) is encouraged to know the Lord in a personal and intimate way, to experience a sense of belonging to the Christian community, and to respond to the Gospel mandate of Christian service, love, and joy.
