Prayer Shawl Ministry

The members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry use their artful talents to crochet, knit, and sometimes quilt warm and beautiful prayer shawls to provide comfort to anyone undergoing a life trauma, death, serious illness, or just because there is a need for comfort.  These shawls are crafted by parish women with love, prayer, and the Holy Spirit in their hearts.  Each recipient receives a written prayer with their shawl to remind them that each time they wrap themselves in their shawl, they are being prayed for by the entire ministry and our parish.  All prayer shawls are blessed by Father Frank and parishioners during a special blessing at Mass.
